Bucket-List

I read some statistic many years ago that you are like a thousand times more likely to accomplish a goal if you write it down.  So, I’ve been keeping a bucket-list and decided to publish it to not only hold myself accountable, but to also allow people to help me out.  I know a few of these things won’t be easy on my own!  Some have been removed because involve specific people and I’d like it to be a surprise for them when I finally accomplish it.  Starred items are things I’ve done that I never expected to and ought to belong on a bucket list!

    1. Sky Dive (9/2008)
    2. Perform stand up comedy in a club (Fall 2007)
    3. Learn to play a musical instrument with some degree of skill (Guitar)
    4. Learn to sing (or at least take lessons) (Winter 2007)
    5. Attend Oktoberfest in Munich (Fall 2007)
    6. Complete a triathlon (Spring 2005)
    7. Fly first class (Fall 2008)
    8. Learn to dance well (Winter 2009)
    9. Have my own gallery show
    10. See the pyramids
    11. Visit all seven continents (Antarctica, Australia, Africa, Europe, North America, Asia, South America)
    12. Write a song – preferably hip-hop
    13. Make a feature length movie with my friends
    14. Fall in love – Get married
    15. Go white water rafting
    16. Attend Mardi – Gra
    17. Bungee Jump
    18. Learn to change the oil in my car… Who am I kidding, learn to change the windshield washer fluid in my car
    19. Take a vacation by myself (Club Med Turkoise in Turks & Caicos, 6/2011)
    20. Be an extra in a film
    21. Memorize a poem and pass it on
    22. Become a Toastmaster
    23. Pose nude/semi-nude for an art class (12/13/2010)
    24. Complete a marathon
    25. Take a class from Tom Savini’s School of Special Effects Make-Up* (Tom no longer offer’s this class)
    26. Pretend to be a celebrity with an entourage

    28. Participate in a PaintBall tournament
    29. Learn to drive a manual transmission (10/2010)
    30. Own a car that’s totally impractical but totally fun
    31. Go scuba diving (6/2011 in Turks & Caicos)
    32. Attempt to drink a blended McDonalds extra value meal. (Fall 2009 – its gross)
    33. Run with the bulls in Pamplona
    34. Write a fan letter (2009)

    36. Get back stage and meet one of my favorite musicians
    37. Win a radio contest
    38. Look up and write thank you letters to people who have had smalls roles but great influence in my life.
    39. Spend a night in a haunted house
    40. Ask someone I have just met to go on a date (2009)
    41. Drive across America from coast to coast
    42. Attend Burning Man
    43. Take a class on bartending
    44. Make $10,000 in one year from selling artwork
    45. Climb one of the world’s Seven Summits.
    46. Learn to surf
    47. Illustrate a children’s book
    48. Get my name in the credits of a published video game
    49. Invite celebrities to parties until one finally shows up
    50. Have the option to retire by 57 (This doesn’t necessarily mean retire, but at least have the option to retire. I heart my job!)
    51. Sing and play guitar on stage.
